Acer launched its latest smartphones, the Super ZX and Super ZX Pro, in India with prices beginning at Rs 9990. This release targets budget-conscious consumers who want modern features like 5G connectivity and the latest stock Android 15 experience.
The Super ZX comes equipped with a 64 megapixel triple rear camera setup featuring a Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 2 megapixel depth sensor, and a 2 megapixel macro shooter. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device sports a 6.78-inch full HD plus LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of brightness. For selfies, it offers a 13 megapixel front camera.
Meanwhile, the Super ZX Pro steps up with a 50 megapixel triple rear camera system including a Sony LYTIA IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 5 megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro camera. It also features a 50 megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies. The Pro model runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It's a 6.67-inch full HD plus AMOLED display that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate but reaches 1000 nits of brightness for a more vibrant viewing experience.
Both smartphones pack 5000mAh batteries with 33W wired fast charging support, ensuring long-lasting performance. The Super ZX has an IP50 rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the Pro variant boasts an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added convenience. Connectivity-wise wise both devices support dual SIM 5G and Wi Fi. The Pro model also includes Dolby Atmos-backed stereo speakers and a glass back weighing 182g, while the standard model has a plastic back and weighs 200g.
Pricing for the Super ZX starts at Rs 9990 for the 4GB plus 64GB variant, while the Super ZX Pro begins at Rs 17990 for the 6GB plus 128GB configuration. Both models will be available for purchase in India via Amazon starting April 25, 2025.
This launch positions Acer to compete in India’s competitive smartphone market, offering a blend of affordability and advanced features for tech-savvy buyers.
