Pokemon TCG Pocket has officially revealed its next major update, and fans of classic Pokémon have a lot to look forward to. The new Crimson Blaze (B1a) expansion is set to arrive on December 17, 2025, bringing a wave of Gen 1 nostalgia and fresh gameplay features to the app.
The announcement follows the popular Mega Rising packs, and many players were waiting for the next big reveal. Crimson Blaze steps in with a full lineup of new Mega Evolution EX cards, several art rares, and many familiar Pokémon that long-time fans will instantly recognise.
A new trailer released today shows off the upcoming booster pack and confirms that the update will go live on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM PST. The set includes a mix of powerful Mega Pokémon and classic creatures from the Kanto region, making it one of the most exciting updates yet.

Players will also get new cosmetic items to style their decks. A fiery set of covers and backdrops inspired by Mega Charizard Y will be available on December 31, 2025, at 10:00 PM PST.
