The Fortnite Item Shop has introduced the Direwolf Pup Sidekick, a new addition resulting from the ongoing Game of Thrones collaboration. This sidekick celebrates House Stark’s legendary direwolves by offering players a charming puppy companion.
The Direwolf Pup Sidekick became available for purchase beginning August 22, 2026 at 8 PM ET. Players can find this item in the Game of Thrones section of the Item Shop. The standalone price is 1,500 V-Bucks, and currently, there is no bundled discount. Fans should act quickly—this sidekick will remain up for grabs only until August 29, 2026 at 8 PM ET.
How To Purchase and Use
To buy the Direwolf Pup Sidekick, players should open Fortnite, access the Item Shop, locate the exclusive Game of Thrones section, and select the Direwolf Pup Sidekick. After purchasing, this companion is added to the Locker, where it can be equipped and customized.
In Game of Thrones lore, direwolves are the iconic emblem of House Stark. Fortnite’s Direwolf Pup Sidekick is a purely cosmetic item that follows the player and responds to its surroundings. Much like other sidekicks, it is invisible to opponents and does not influence gameplay or provide competitive advantages.
This marks another step in Fortnite’s collaboration with Game of Thrones, following the release of earlier cosmetics in March 2026 for the franchise’s 15th anniversary. That earlier set included character skins for Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and the Night King, among other themed items.
